Alcohol-free drinks are booming. More than 400,000 Australians are planning to stop drinking

More than 400,000 Australians plan to give up alcohol this year, many of whom have given up drinking due to health concerns and the high cost of living.

In this context, 2 percent of 1,085 adults in an online study said they would give up drinking in 2023.

The report also indicated that those between the ages of 25 and 40 are more inclined to quit drinking.

In addition, the survey found that three times more men than women plan to give up alcohol.

It should be noted that these findings came with brew stores and many major brands stocking plenty of non-alcoholic beverage versions of popular beers, wines and spirits.

The global non-alcoholic beer market will grow to a value of about $25 billion by the year 2025.

On the other hand, it is estimated that abstaining from alcohol can save more than $1,971 per year, or about $38 per week.
