Cannabis cache uncovered in Adelaide and two men arrested

Two men have been arrested after a cache of cannabis was discovered in Adelaide.

Police visited a semi-rural property in Coromandel East to conduct a search on Monday.

In this context, the officers reported that they seized and confiscated 18 cannabis plants that were being grown in the water.

The police added that they also seized about 680 grams of dried hashish, two explosive firearms, about 35 grams of white powder that they believed to be cocaine, hydroponics equipment and a large amount of cash.

Subsequently, a 53-year-old and a 20-year-old, both from Adelaide, were arrested.

It is worth noting that each of them was charged with cultivating hashish and stealing electricity, in addition to drug trafficking, money laundering and possession of unlicensed firearms.

Finally, they were refused bail and will appear before the Adelaide Magistrates Court.
