Lakers lose despite the brilliance of James

 


Los Angeles Lakers lose to Sacramento Kings, in the NBA.

New Zealander Stephen Adams, scoring the winning basket, led his Memphis Grizzlies to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-114 in the NBA.

This is Memphis' 11th consecutive win, extending its record this season to 31 wins and 13 losses.

Desmond Payne was the best scorer for the Grizzlies with 25 points and Ja Morant added 24 points.

In Los Angeles, the Lakers lost to the Sacramento Kings, 111-116, despite the brilliance of its star, LeBron James, by scoring 32 points.

The Serbian Nikola Jokic, scoring 31 points, led his team, the Denver Nuggets, to a victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 122-118.

DeJonte Murray scored 30 points as the Atlanta Hawks beat the Dallas Mavericks 130-122.
